The CheckIT pH & CF / EC meters are truly the most robust glass type EC testers available. They are drop resistant, temperature compensating and easy to calibrate. The devices are also waterproof, making them easy to wash off. Even if the meter accidentally falls into the water, it will float so that it can be directly extracted without damaging the electronics.
The meters cost less per test than competitive, high-quality testers. Meters have a life of 1–3 years, depending on the test frequency. (The devices can take at least 365 accurate pH measurements.)
The meters have an energy-saving feature that turns the tester off when not in use. To ensure that values are always accurate, the device displays a low-battery symbol to alert the user to replace the batteries before the accuracy of important values degrades.
